Keith completed his undergraduate accounting degree from Campbell University in 1986 and graduate Master of Science in Accounting degree from Liberty University with honors in 2016. Keith began working with the firm as a staff accountant in 1986 before accepting the Controller position at Wellons Construction, Inc. in Dunn. He returned to the firm in 1989 to supervise the opening of our Dunn office and was admitted as a partner in 1996.
During this time Keith worked with a variety of businesses and individuals in providing tax planning and compliance, business advisory and financial reporting services, particularly in the field of commercial and residential construction. Since 2007, Keith has focused on development of the agriculture services area of the firm working on farm income tax preparation and tax planning services, assisting farmers and related agri-business owners in structuring business entities, which allow efficient operation of the business while being sensitive of their desire to minimize taxes and exposure to liability and working on succession and estate planning concerns for agriculture producers.
In 2018, Keith became North Carolina’s first and only Certified Agricultural Consultant (CAC) as identified by the American Society of Agricultural Consultants. Keith resides with his wife Patty and their two teenage sons in Lillington and attends Holly Springs Baptist Church in Broadway. His third and oldest son and wife have provided for the first granddaughter and grandson.
