Matthew graduated from North Carolina State University with honors in 1998 earning a Master of Accounting degree. He joined our firm in 1999 as a staff accountant after working for a large international CPA firm. Matthew was admitted as a partner in 2003.
Matthew works with a variety of businesses and individuals in providing client-specific tax planning and compliance, business advisory and financial reporting services. He has extensive experience in the commercial and residential construction, real estate development and leasing area. His knowledge in this area allows him to navigate the bonding and lending landscape as well as communicate with private investors. Matthew also enjoys working with professional service firms and consultants in various industries including legal, medical, engineering, finance, software and many others.
