As Service Line Leader for TRP Sumner’s Client Account Services (CAS) Line, Heather leads a team of approximately fifteen who perform bookkeeping/financial reporting and payroll for clients. Her leadership role includes guiding the strategic direction of the department, in conjunction with the partners, as well as training her team and ensuring they perform at the highest level of their ability. Heather handles business proposals and meets with new clients for on-boarding. She is also a problem-solver for complex client issues in the bookkeeping and payroll arena.

Heather joined TRP Sumner in 2004, after working for several years with another CPA firm in the Fayetteville market. She earned her Associate Degree in Accounting from Fayetteville Technical Community College and completed coursework in the accounting program at Fayetteville State University. She has been recognized by her colleagues at TRP Sumner with six team/peer awards in the past 5 years.
