Since joining TRP Sumner in 1998, Sidney has served the firm in various roles and capacities as a tax accountant. In his current position as a Senior Manager, he has primary responsibility for serving clients in a variety of industries, including many in health care and real estate. As a specialist on the leadership team, Sidney advises the firm’s Tax Service Line on complex matters. He also assists the partners with client management.

With more than 29 years in public accounting, Sidney has extensive experience in providing tax, accounting, and consulting services for both corporate and individual clients. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from East Carolina University.

Sidney is an active member of the Cedar Falls Baptist Church, where he serves as a Deacon, finance committee member, and Sunday School teacher. A Fayetteville native, he and his wife, Kimberly, have three sons.
